At the Singapore GP, we're determined to build a legacy of positive change. In line with F1’s goal of reaching net zero by 2030, we are working closely with the Singapore Tourism Board to lay the foundation for the Formula 1 Singapore Grand Prix to become one of the most environmentally sustainable street circuits on the F1 calendar. As part of ongoing efforts to go green, we will prioritise responsible sourcing, trial new clean energy and waste management solutions, while introducing initiatives that make it easier for our fans and staff to make environmentally friendly choices. We will also continue to put people at the heart of everything we do, strengthening our efforts to create positive impact in the community.
To keep us on track, we have appointed Faithful + Gould to produce a Carbon Footprinting Report that will help us understand the greatest sources of emissions within the Circuit Park’s patron experience zones. Results from this report, which will be audited by TÜV SÜD PSB, will in turn guide the development of our Carbon Management Plan so we may continue to reduce our carbon footprint and enhance our sustainability efforts for the race over the remainder of the seven-year term.
We are excited to continue to collaborate with industry partners in developing innovative sustainable solutions in the years to come.
